Hi, I’m Zachary Dominy, UBank's Chief Credit Officer!

I was born and raised in Bullard, Texas, which is where my passion for East Texas begins.

While I get to do business throughout the entire East Texas area, Bullard will always have a special place in my heart. For college, I attended Tyler Junior College where I majored in General Studies, followed by Stephen F. Austin State University where I received my BBA.

I’ve always had a passion for finance and real estate, but I haven’t always worked for a bank. Prior to UBank, I worked for a local farm credit institution and it was this experience that gave me a working knowledge of the agricultural community and lending. I’m so thankful for that opportunity because it gave me the experience I needed to be a well-rounded commercial lender.

I’ve been at UBank for a little over two years now, and I’ve had the pleasure of watching it grow and evolve into the bank it is today. UBank has given me the opportunity to work within the communities I grew up in, which makes the career I love even more rewarding. Within the world of commercial lending, I specialize in commercial real estate. Being an East Texas native myself, there’s nothing I love more than helping people buy or sell their land to help them grow their businesses.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf. Family is a huge part of my life, and I love working at UBank because I get to help families just like mine. Since we’re one of the last standing community banks in East Texas, I have the joy of knowing my customers by name and getting to watch their families.
